Hey there,
Have you ever tuned into a news channel, and been disgusted by the bias that channels exhibit while discussing politics? Have you ever listened to a sports commentary and been flabbergasted by the sheer amount of references that the commentators just assume you understand? Are you tired of those seemingly paid movie reviews that promote commercial and not art cinema? Do you want to watch quality content instead of movies like Baaghi 3? Or do you just have a thirst for knowledge in general?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then you’ve come to the right place: Openions is the perfect solution for you!
I remember watching Zee news one night with my family, and I was so irritated by how much the anchor Sudhir Chaudhary was defending the government with baseless arguments and spineless analogies. I changed the channel to NDTV and nothing changed, except they were now using the very same tools to defame the government. It seemed there was no news outlet than could offer an unbiased opinion about any issue.
It used to be that people were told the facts and then they formed their opinion. Now it’s the exact opposite: people watch opinions and then try to figure out the facts. This has to change. So, me and two of my friends decided to start this page to offer people the truth, the honest truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us God.
Here’s a word about us:
I am Nishit Kumar. I write about politics and economics. I have been following Indian and world politics for over 5 years, and though I obviously have a political preference, I’ll try to look past that while writing my articles. Good luck trying to figure out which side I lean towards.
Kshitij Raja writes about Sports. He has more knowledge about sports than any other living human I know, and is a great cricket and football player. Reading his articles about matches, tournaments, and players will tell you all that you need to know in order to hold your own in any sports discussion.
Hardik Jaimini is an artist and a film critic. He spends half his day on YouTube, and the other half on Netflix (borrowed of course). He writes about recent and past movies and TV shows. In addition to that, he’ll also share a list of binge-worthy shows and movies for each streaming platform. Watch the movies he recommends, and I promise you, you’ll realize that there are Indian movies and actors who are on par with the Hollywood-level content we keep searching for.
So that’s the team, and together we aim to bring to try and make a difference. Since we are not-for-profit bloggers, don’t forget to share as much as possible if you like what we have to say.

We hope you have as much fun reading this blog as we had making it.
